How It Works
Your existing door becomes smart.
The lock sits on the inside of the door, so it cannot be seen or tampered with from outside. Nothing changes on the outer face of the door, and your physical key keeps working.
Place the guide from the box on the inner face of the cylinder, insert your existing key and seat the lock over it. Setup is finished in the app. Opening the door remotely requires the Onlock Hub.

Yes. Since nothing on the door is changed, you can keep using it with your physical key.
What happens if my phone or the lock runs out of battery?+
The lock never restricts the physical key, so you can let yourself in with your existing key.
How long does the battery last?+
Up to a year. The battery level is shown in the app, and you are notified at intervals once it runs low.
How secure is it?+
The lock sits on the inside of the door and cannot be seen from outside. Communication between the app and the lock is end-to-end encrypted, the app uses two-factor authentication, and every operation is verified again on the server.
